Background Information¶

Salmonella enterica subsp. enterica serovar Richmond (antigenic formula 6,7:y:1,2) is a serovar of the O:7(C₁) serogroup.¹ Serovar Richmond has been isolated from turtles, tilapia, moringa leaf powder, aqueducts, onion, fish products, and poultry.^{2,3,4,5,6,7,8}

Serovar Richmond has displayed multi-drug resistance (AMP/CAZ/CTX/CN/KF/KZ/S/TE/NA).⁵
